Laconic takes a relationship driven, boutique approach to our clients, where each client is a valued partner, not another number in a vast machine. The agency business today is being swallowed up by larger agencies owned by hedge funds, whose sole focus is bottom line. Our focus is adding value to our clients for the long term. Our goal is long term relationships where we make a difference in the success of a business and become a true partner.
Another key differentiator is our philosophy is to actively introduce our clients to our extensive network of valued partners – other clients, accountants, attorneys, etc. We start with finding out who you are looking to connect with, and actively make valuable introductions. This is what makes Laconic more than just a vendor.
MANAGEMENT
Laconic Risk Solutions was founded by Yannis Legakis, a construction focused surety and insurance expert for more than two decades. During that time he spent a few years as Controller of a bridge painting contractor, giving him valuable experience and perspective on the client side. For the past six years and prior to launching Laconic, he was a bonding partner in a NYC agency. Mr. Legakis has authored several nationally published articles in the field of contractor fringe accounting. He holds a Bachelor in Health Policy Administration from Penn State University.
